  • Yes. Acknowleging their apology and adding one of your own. At least that's the way I see it. :-)
  • Of course, but I also feel that if I gave a thoughtful apology and was the first to say I was sorry, that the other person should come up with something a bit more creative than "I'm sorry, too" or "me too", unless of course I was the only one who made a mistake here and the other person didn't need to apologize, lol.
  • As long as you are sincerely sorry too. If you have nothing to be sorry too about, then, just a "Thanks for saying that" will suffice.
  • If the apology is sincere, then yes. I think the word "too" says a lot.
