  • For a logical understanding of Revelation, it is good to study it in context. Remember that the four horsemen are the first four seals of seven seals that are opened. Each of these seals is very significant and important as to fulfillment of world events. The last and seventh seal opens up to reveal seven trumpet blasts in succession that are also in fulfillment of bible prophecy in our day. • ‘And I saw, and, look! a white horse, a fiery-colored horse, a black horse, a pale horse; and the one seated upon it had the name Death. And Hades was closely following him.’—REVELATION 6:2-8. “And I saw when the Lamb [Jesus Christ] opened one of the seven seals [of the scroll that was in his hand], and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice as of thunder: ‘Come!’ And I saw, and, look! a white horse; and the one seated upon it had a bow; and a crown was given him, and he went forth conquering and to complete his conquest.” Jesus Christ is the rider of the first horse. The newly crowned King must ride forth to war because his kingship is established in the face of bitter opposition from Jehovah’s chief adversary, Satan the Devil, and those on earth who—knowingly or unknowingly—serve Satan’s ends. The birth of the Kingdom itself calls for a major war in heaven. Jesus overcomes Satan and his demons and hurls them down to the earth. ( see Revelation 12:7-12) War is the second horse is “bright red,” or “fiery-colored.” (Revelation 6:3, 4, An American Translation) Its rider “was granted to take peace away from the earth so that they should slaughter one another.” He was given “a great sword.” The third horse, Pestilence is a black one, and its rider has a pair of scales in his hand. (Revelation 6:5, 6) A voice calls out that it would require an entire day’s wage just to buy one quart (1.1 L) of wheat or three quarts of the cheaper grain barley. This fittingly describes food shortages on a scale greater than ever before. As for the fourth horse, we notice that it is “pale,” sickly looking. The rider’s name is “Death.” (Revelation 6:7, 8) The fact that Jesus Christ is the rider of the first horse should be of great comfort to us. Rather than scaring us, we should be full of hope understanding that Christ will remove the wickedness from this earth as he moves forward in conquering God’s foes. Yes, peace will follow and "flow like a river".
  • I figure that after the horesmen come through and lay the world to waist there will be peace because not a whole lot will be left in there wake
  • It is in the nature of humanity to engage in conflict. We have unlimited demand for resources and a limited supply of said resources. That alone ensures there will always be war. Also, most of our technological advancements have come from warfare. Warfare, as brutal and horrible as it is, has been humanity's crucible. Those cultures that couldn't or wouldn't fight have perished from the Earth. It is our twin abilities of selfless compassion and brutal violence that has allowed humanity to survive. If we were to lose either of those abilities, I believe we would doom ourselves. So no, there will never be peace on Earth. Even if there were, I'm not convinced it would be a good thing.
  • As long humans still sin, like make a little lie, just a little one, never will we see peace on this earth until the Second Coming of Christ. Which is soon. I can't wait! => =) =D
  • Yes...AFTER Armageddon...once wickedness is removed... Wicked men and wicked systems (Psalm 37:9) For evil men will be done away with, But those hoping in Jehovah will possess the earth. (Psalm 37:29) The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it. (Isaiah 45:18) For this is what Jehovah says, The Creator of the heavens, the true God, The One who formed the earth, its Maker who firmly established it, Who did not create it simply for nothing, but formed it to be inhabited:
  • Kidding? And dismiss our heroes?
  • i doubt it
  • Yes but it won't come about by man's efforts. Jesus rides forth on the white horse which depicts righteous warfare. Jesus is now ruling invisibly as King. He will soon
  • The four horsemen are 1. A white horse. Jesus riding out to conquer evil...a good act. 2. The RED horse,,,War 3. The BLACK hose...Famine 4. The PALE horse...Death...by plague, famine and wild beasts... Revelation 6: 1-8 It must be accurate...
  • What for? Progress leaps forward by leaps during conflicts!
