Like me, bite your tongue, show up be as happy as you can and save enough money that when the time comes if you really want to leave your current job you will have enough to live happily while looking for another.

Personally, I am trudging on through and sticking with it. NOT because of myself, but because I am the primary breadwinner for my family. If it were just me, I'd start a job working with Burger King and live in a box instead of this shit.

Almost everyone's miserable with their jobs. Chances are, you'll be miserable, sooner or later, in your next job. But you'll be more miserable without a job, because you won't be able to buy the things you enjoy, and eventually will have problems keeping up the rent or mortgage or whatever, and paying the bills. I say stick it out, save, and look around in the mean time, whenever you have available time. I definitely wouldn't leave my job without a firm offer from somewhere else.

keep your eyes open for another job and tell everyone you know that you are looking. You never know when someone will know of something that isn't listed anywhere. Maybe take some classes to learn something new that you can apply to a job you would be happier in.

I am exactly at that point where I am looking and the market has fewer jobs than before. On top of this my boss is driving not just me but all of us crazy. But I wont leave this job until I get myself an offer from elsewhere. I will keep trying. I love my job its not that what makes me miserable. But rather my boss, her behaviour and her rude mannerism towards our students and staff.

You need to come to the realization that: You are too young and too fabulous to be stuck in a dead end job that is causing you to be miserable.
