From 1984 to 1994 is it for me. You start with Michael Jackson Thriller, through Decepche Mode/The Cure Days, Grunge and glam rock. Great time for music!

Wow... tough question. I'd have to say, about 1966 through 1976. I don't think popular music has ever gone through such an enormous shift, or had such an eclectic existence since then. British Invasion was at its peak, acid rock, prog-rock, Frank Zappa, Led Zep, Steely Dan... I could go on and on.

1985-1995 I love the 80's music & some of the early 90's

1960-1970 The Beatles era. Music was never so exciting, so meaningful, so geared to a generation.

I would assume most people would answer the time they grew up listening to music, so to me the late 80's and early 90's :)
