That all depends upon what kind of person one is. Since, clearly, we all have free will, no one "has" to do anything. So of course, this is not a question anyone can answer for you, but only a question that you can answer for yourself.

I think so, yes. Keeping your promises ties in with your own character and behaving honorably, not so much about the other person.

Well what was the promise because if it is something you do not fill good doing for someone that is not you friends anymore you should not fill obligated to do it If it's something simple that you would do for anyone then why not keep the promise.
