  • no, my mom is a single parent and we had been so poor that when we didnt have a place to stay she would take us to dennys so we had some where to sleep for the night and she would stay up. She never let us know what was really going on so we never had to feel the pressures of poverty.
  • There is basically nothing I wouldn't do to feed my child. If our circumstances were that dire, then I don't doubt I would have to do some pretty extreme things to make sure she was fed, but I'd do them all the same. She is my responsibility and so it is up to me to make sure she doesn't starve. Her being fed would be my main priority.
  • We're going to stay with the nice folks at family services tonight.
  • If we had no friends or family to help us out, I would tell her we are going to knock on the door of strangers and see if we can't find ourselves a friend :)
  • i have hit rock bottom more then once, and what i did was i sold my books which i held dear to me for many years, i have begged for mercy i did what i had to , but not once did i sell my body for money or food, that to me is not an option .
  • If there was no other way or resource available, I'd steal food for my 5 year old. Never would I let my child go hungry.
  • If I had a child I would never let that happen. I'd go scrounging the streets for change for hours so I can get something for her on the dollar menu before I let her go hungry. The child shouldn't be forced to suffer, they never asked to be brought into this world.
  • Call your local churches and they can at least direct you to a food pantry or maybe more. I would beg if necessary to keep my children healthy.
  • Have a yard sale ..learn to cook we were poor my mom could make amazing things just from what was in the cupboard, which wasn't much. you obviousley can afford having the internet learn to make food that stretches. Or heaven forbid save 25.00 dollars a month and quit chatting if things are that tight...
  • If i could see i was running out of food and didnt have the means to get more, I would go without to make it last for my child.. Im not one for stealing or asking strangers for food but if it was the only way to get my child what they need Id do it.. I would never put my child to bed hungry
  • If i was in that situation i'd get my child to steal it from a market or somewhere because they cant be prosecuted because there under 10 years old,but i'd explain to them that it was a last resort because they had no other way of getting food.Feeding you family has to be more important than your moral princibles.
