Not great, but better than you'd think. Simple physics dictates that they thing is more likely to get punted off the road than to stay put due to inertia and get crushed/deformed. Whether or not that is a net improvement is a crap shoot. The myth that size equals survivability is not entirely true. I'd take a Mini Cooper over an Exploder any day.
