Help answer this question below.
No. but i did make a cow costume once for my son for halloween.
Yes and I have 3 Husqvarna sewing machines and Elna serger. I even have a long arm.
I adore sewing and designing.
I'm a gal with a passion for fashion! :D
I'm pretty good! But definitely not as good as some others out there...I can probably get my way around, but not with super, lightening speeds. ;)
God, no.
I've killed at least three sewing machines. And I can barely sew a button on a piece of fabric :(
Home economics hated me.
My mom was a wonderful seamstress..she used to work in the design field as a sample maker for various clothing designers. I, on the other hand, am/was mediocre. I did make a couple of tops for myself that looked good and my crowning achievement was a red flannel robe that I made for my son when we lived in Massachusetts and he was just a little guy. I made it roomy enough that I could lower the hem as he grew..I made it when he was 2 and he was able to wear it (with adjustments by me) until he was about 6. I just kept letting out the hems! :)
Used to be at school. Mind you that was a long time ago.... we used treadle machines!! Jeeeeeez m'gettin sooooo old!!
Yeah, I'm pretty good.
with sewing machines no. but when i do it with my own hands im way better
yes, I am!
NO a man looking at a sewing machine is like a girl looking at a car engine lol
My Mum got me into sewing, now I can use one no problems, she has a fancy machine with a computerized embroidery module , she hasnt figured it out yet after 2 years but I can use it no problem.
No. I am dysfunctional if I were to use one.
Yes, I used to design and make costumes for people. It was a long time back, and I prefer hand sewing now. I haven't tried any of the new, fancy computerized sewing machines. The most I ever had was a mechanical button-holer, and a few decorative stitches.
Yes I am. I have been sewing with and without a machine since I was 4 years old. I majored in Clothing and tailoring in high school. My mom trained to be a pattern maker and also went to school for tailoring so she taught me what she knew, too. I do quilting and embroidery by machine, too. I've done upholstery, alterations and other things for people, even giving sewing lessons, especially to kids.
All my machines think so, don't you baby? Oooo yeah, that's right, sew that seam for mama. Ahhhh huh, ok, that's it. Move that needle up and down. Oh yeah, now work that bobbin.
