Ok I'll change my answer in a more lovely kind of way.Not to get a better rating because I will still speak the truth. The Pope takes on the role of God. He says he is the closest to God and that he can forgive sins. The bible is contrary of that. "For there is no respect of persons with God." (Romans 2:11) In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: (Colossians 1:14) Only Christ can wash away your sins and we are all equal at the cross, meaning one is not higher than the other. To say otherwise is be be full of self rightousness. Read the bible.

No, the Pope doesn't do anything. He is just a entertainment factor to try to get people into religion. They just try to find a nice looking old guy and he acts all holy.
