  • Praise doesn't mean you dance around praising God. Praise is acknowledging God's sovereignity in every situation; it can be done with joy, with sorrow - depending on the situation. There's nothing wrong in sharing your anger, frustrations, dejections of life with Him. God is with those who mourn, He doesn't condemn them, but rather grieves with them. And He grieves with Anita for her lose of home and all that she's lost.
  • It depends upon your level of spiritual maturity. A spiritually mature person will take a look at the big picture and thank God that you and your children are all alive and unhurt. With this kind of outlook, yes, it can be very easy to praise and give glory to God. One day, I hope to be this spiritually mature. With love in Christ.
