Did you come here (as I did) after finding Yahoo Answers to be waste of time? Please explain briefly.

Yahoo answers takes away points for asking a question. If nobody asks a question, the whole system is a waste. I don't know how drunk they were when making that decision but thats a big reason I don't go there.

I actually started here and am spending more time there. I find the trolls on this site and some of the obnoxious holier than thou's to be the reason I spend more time on Yahoo. Edit: Not really a wasteland at all. I guess it depends on what category you stay in. Home and Garden , sports and Canada Travel, have been just fine, both helpful and am able to help others. You've had a bad experience there obviously. I have not. I have, however, have had a very negative experience here, to the point I will no longer answer some members questions nor will I answer in categories I know the subject well, just because there's no point getting a kick in the schnutz for the trouble. That can't happen in Yahoo. It happens here on a daily basis. This answer is a good example. Thought out and I expressed an opinion. One that wasn't shared by the author of the question and there isn't even a rate, just a comment. I rest my case.
