have someone neel down at fuel tank, even put their hand on tank if possible, you need to deterimine if the fuel pump is comming on for a few seconds, LOOK, LISTEN, FEEL! If there is no pump viberations or other sounds, then look at the fuse for fuel pump, if o.k then look for relay for fuel pump, exchange it with another one in the relay box that has the same number on it, if that does not start the pump (pump should engage for a few seconds when key is turned to on position) if pump works, should have schrader valve on fuel rail, gentally push in valve while someone operates key(cold engine only, fuel is extremely flamable and under High pressure)to see if there is any fuel to that point,if okay, then check spark.

sounds like a vacuum leak. check all the hoses for leaking air.. a pssssssss sound.

Based on that you checked all the basics: If it’s cranking but not starting... bad news, your alternator is gone. The good news is that it won't be very expensive (depends on the make of your car). Sorry and good luck!

Is there a security light on in the instrument cluster? Try using another key. It is possible there is a security system fault that is causing the no start. If the light turns on and stays on more than 30 seconds with the key in the run position, leave the key in the run position untill the light turns off, about 10 minutes, this allows the system to relearn the key.
