Can ringworms survive in furniture such as a sofa,and if so what can you use to remove them?

Their spores 'supposedly' can live up to eight months. You can vacuum your furniture. :) I've lived among humans and critters with ringworm and only got it once and that was a mistake on my part when removing the outer protective clothing before leaving the area where we were treating cats affected by them. Wash hands and clothing. Spray furniture with anti-bacterial spray if you feel the need. If the human or critter that was affected has use specific bedding and such REALLY really clean that area or throw away and start fresh.

Ringworm is a fungus not actually a worm and they do have products which you can use on furnitures and carpet to take care of the problem :)

Hey just found out that ringworm is a fungal infection much like jock itch or athletes foot and athletes foot spray works on ringworm! Oh happy day!

You can burn your sofa, that usually works.
