  • First of all, use volumizing shampoo. Getting highlights in your hair helps alot too. Also you can blow dry your hair upsidedown and using one of those round brushes with the metal background helps give body. You could always get a body perm! I hope some of this helps!
  • Theres many products that will volumize the hair. One that i use is the Fructis Volumizing shampoo and conditioner theres also aussie which works like a charm. And usually if you blow dry your hair you'll get a little more volume than usual
  • volumizing shampoo volumizing cream volumizing mousse (this one works the best) apply it at the top of your hair and boom you no longer have flat hair! (works for me lol) (but dont rub it in hard.. u have to kinda fluff it at ur putting it in)
  • The simplest thing you can do is " don't comb it after you finish wasing it" just use your fingers to get the tangles out and when it's allmost dry use a brush. make sure you have good conditioner and even consider a "hot oil treatment".
  • I'm really trying not to answer by buying big headphones. I use a volumising shampoo and conditioner and always blowdry straight after the shower which seems to make the hair appear bigger by increasing the spaces between each hair. The problem is that this also makes my hair slightly puffy as well, so I keep it fairly short.
  • i've tried a number of shampoos and conditioners that claim to deliver volume, both drugstore and salon brands, and i've found one to really work the best for me surprisingly is suave's amplifying line. ! i was truly amazed with the results, and being so cheap, it doesn't hurt to try. another nice product is redken's inflate (now i think called workforce 09) hairspray. plus, it also helps to get a short to medium length hair style, so all that hair won't weigh itself down.
  • Use a volumising shampoo and then a Root lift product, blow dry lifting the hair away from the scalp and drying the roots first. There are many root lift and volumising products on the market and the most expensive Brand Hairdresser names are not necessarily the best. Berore you finish hold your head down and just buff it up with your fingers while keeping the dryer on it.
  • You can try any number of volumising shampoos and conditioners. I use Alterna Life spray mousse for overall volume and Tigi Bed Head "Queen for a Day" as a root lifter. If I curl my hair I use Beyond the Zone "Flipped Out". As the name implies, flip hair so that the underside is showing, spray a small amount on at the roots, flip back over. Use this sparingly as it is very strong and holds all day.
  • I dont know if this helps, but I always hotroll my hair whenever I need volume.... Get the big ones however, because sometimes the little'r ones make my hair TOO curly defeting the purpose. i think their is a conair set at walmart for like $12 IT WORKS WONDERS i promise... i have EEEXXXTTTRRREAMLY flat hair ... heres a tip though while the rollers are in your hair and your just about to take them out, spary some hairspay on your hair, take out the rollers and run your fingers thru your hair, do not bush it.
  • hi .. i am OBSSESD with volume in my hair, here is what i do ... 1. always use volumising shampoo and conditioner 2. i then use 'bed head' "thick massive hair blow dry lotion" - you apply this when your hair is wet. it adds texture to your hair (very important if your wanting volume). 3. blow dry your hair upside down!! 4. use large rollers at roots of your hair (i put them in whilst doing my make up b4 straightening). 5. straighten your hair from half way down, not from the root!! 6. an extra tip at this point - i pin up top layer of my hair and crimp the underneath layer at the root - this makes the roots underneath have ALOT of volume - then drop the top layer down so you cant actually see the crimp. 7. BACKCOMBE - most important/effective tip ... use volumising hair spray and do the same as the crimping tip, backcombe underneath your hair and drop the top layer overtop. 8. hairspray hairspray hairspray! haha oh and i ve just got thia AMAZING product frm osis+ its called mattifying powder (look it up on internet) .. its a proffesional product only available on internet or in selected salons .. u apply it directly to your root, and it gives you AMAZING root uplift!! and remember your hairstyle also plays a big part... keep you length but ask for a few short layers, the lighter your hair is the more it will volumise! hope i helped :)
