I don't know if this will bring your spirits up~I'll try. I had to help my daughter make Maybaskets for Mayday. All the kids in here class were making theirs by computer and printing them out.I don't have a home computer and she was very upset that she wasn't w/the trend, and cried that she would be the only one w/an "old fashioned Maybasket".After calming her down,we took a walk in my rose garden and picked all the blooms to put in her baskets,we made fudge and drew pictures. After the whole project was all done and we had 25 Maybaskets, she looked at them, her face beaming and said"Mommy you are old fashioned but the best mommy in the whole world! I love you!" It was the brightest moment in my day, week, month!

Our local Meals-On-Wheels program is a real success. Volunteers deliver the meals at no cost to the Center or the client (to their own homes) and an agency or the client himself/herself pays a nominal fee. This has been going on for years and our Church is involved heavily in recruiting delivery volunteers.
