Money IS important. You can't do much without it these days, but I wouldn't consider anyone bad because money is important to them...unless it was the single MOST important thing to them.

I too think that money is important. Although I do believe that many people have a few misconceptions about money. Making more money will not make you happier, the company you keep is what makes you happy. If the extra money will allow you to spend more time with your friends and relatives, than money SHOULD be important to you. I believe that an excess of money can lead to feelings of elitism and paranoia. The amount of money you make doesn't make you who you are, it just allows you to spend the time with those you love. That is the currency that counts.
