  • Because they can. Anonymity provides the perfect cover for cowards to say the things that they would probably never say in real life. Give them the attention they deserve- none!;)
  • I assume they come on here and make nasty comments as a way of venting anger or hurtful feelings. On other forums people call them trolls. I don't think those kind of people are helpful.
  • Because anonymity lends itself to a cyber-disease called "Assholitis" LOL. Seriously, though, I guess it's because they know they won't get in trouble if no one knows who they are.
  • Anyone on AB can make a nasty comment to you (Courtesy of "Freedom Of Expression"); however, only a person lacking in manners and education would make an uncalled for nasty comment to you or anyone else here on AB or anywhere else
  • I don't know of any nasty comments made to me by anyone, anonymous or not :)
  • For one thing, only cowards do that and they are in denial about it.
  • I've had nasty comments made to my face out in the real world. If you want to say I'm stupid, got facts wrong, or just a plain idiot, that doesn't bother me - heard it all before. But be a man - or woman I suppose - and take the mask off. Oh, and in the real world my name is Mike and I live in northwest Indiana. There, anonymity gone.
  • Because they are just plain anonymous, and up to no good.
  • Hiding behind the cloak of anonymity brings out the real person..so such a person is generally a sourpuss, dislikes others, is always envious/jealous, sees life through a glass darkly, thinks most people are no dam* good unless they are in agreement with his/her world view...otherwise they would say what they have to say as who they are, which they don't. So on top of everything else, they are also rather cowardly..brave in a crowd or when hidden behind a mask..useless in the real world as themselves. Just my opinion..no way of knowing what goes on in the the mind of such person..no way to relate at all! :)
