I've learned that the ones who "beat me up" aren't worth worrying about. My friends don't beat me up.

It hardly ever happens. I have answered nearly 8,000 questions on this site alone, and I regularly answer dozens of questions a day on three other sites. I have received fewer than a dozen complaints about any of my answers, and received over a hundred prizes and awards, plus thousands of thank you's. I find it very rewarding.

YES! too much! all the time! maybe my answers just suck and are extremely unoriginal, Or great minds think alike.

I used to all the time, but i barely ever do anymore. But yes, it is very annoying if someone says the question is retarded and gives you negative points (unless you deserve it for having an outrageous question, hehehe).

Doesn't happen as often as it used to but it did happen again this morning...no big deal...I'm over it now but it took awhile :) He said I didn't have "a real job" among other things.

My wife left this site because of it, so now I have taken over. Being a man it is not that simple to beat me up. Cheers.

I rarely get in those situations but they have happened. I feel very bad about them and move on. If it take me apologizing I have no problem with that. If I need to go do something else, that works too. Then you just have to move on and forget.

It's only happened 3-4 times and I feel so bad afterwards I usually stay away for days. I'm still working on that thick skin:(
