I would go with the Hohner. I feel that Hohner just makes a better guitar. The Scalloped "X" Bracing makes a wonderful sound in the big bodied guitar. I love Rosewood finger boards. Another great feature is the simple inlays and great color. Whichever you choose you're going to have a great time. Let us know which one you pick!
I wish you would have mention that in your post! I would have told you not to but either. I thought you were just trying to make up your mind because you liked both...as a player. But now that you have it play it. I know it's going to hurt awhile but keep at it. Try and get the action lowered. I really wish you luck. The guitar is one of the best things in my life. I'd love to help pass it on.
I own a Norati guitar that I acquired in a trade. I can find no information on this guitar. The label says "Sold only by Music and Arts Centers" and has Mac # 3231 Serial # 5229 and Model # M6. Any info on this guitar ould be great.

I went with the hohner; as much fun as it is to play guitar, I regret the decision- the strings are a gauge too high (easy to fix), and the action is too high (ugh), so it's difficult for me to play
nevertheless, I have every intention to stick with it!

Hey The action problem isn't a huge deal. If you take it to a guitar repair shop I'm sure they can help you with that. Didn't you try and play the guitar before you bought it. Never buy a guitar without playing it first. I love a low action. I've had the action lowered on several of my guitars. Maybe you should give that a try.
