"lo" or "la"
-
it depends on how are you using it ... it can be "lo", "eso" or some other things
-
si yo puedo hablar lo o la Oh no, my 9th grade spanish is coming back to get me, lol

''it'' in Spanish? Did I win yo?...

I guess it makes no sense saying what they other people said above, but i acutally learned this earlier today. Yup, it's lo or la. Eg: Eat it - Comelo/Comela (Depending on the gender of the 'it' you'd use either lo or la)

Thanks Kagome Shuko, Thanks for your question. It seems not. In terms of inanimate objects it is le, la or lo. In terms of an object it is ello, el or ella. As I don't speak Spanish, I don't know which context to use. Wiktionary contains a useful list of alternatives in other languages. Regards Wiktionary http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/it

Kelthod is right. I can give you examples: As inanimate object: I saw it: LO vi o La vi (it depends of the genre of the word replaced by "it") I say it: Lo dije ( we can't say "la dije"!) As an subject: It's a dog:ES un perro (You have to say the verb without a pronoun but here we suppose that the word "el" replaces "it")

There are many different ways. As a suject of a sentence, a separate word is not needed, just the singular 3rd person form of a verb. For example, "Es rojo." means "It is red." As a direct object, "lo" or "la" are used. For example: "Has visto la película?" (Have you seen the movie?) "Sí. Quiero verla otra vez." (Yes. I want to see it again) As an object of a preposition, the pronouns "él" and "ella" are used. For example, "Acabo de entregar mi tarea" (I just turned in my homework) "Pero, olvidaste de ecribir tu nombre en ella!" (But you forgot to write your name on it!) SO, yeah. That's how you say it in Spanish.
