Are all those masculine, macho feminists (like Germaine Greer) just doing it because they are jealous of real women who can wear pretty things, so want to spoil being feminine for real women?

No, i don't think so, I think they just have a masculine personality... if they do put it on, it is to subvert societies veiw of what women are like... just because they are female doesn't mean they have to like pretty things.

A feminist simply means a person that believes men and women should have equal rights. If you are equating feminists with man-haters (sexism), or making assumptions about someone's sexual orientation or saying feminists are masculine and macho, you clearly don't know what the word means. Feminists come in all shapes and sizes, male, female, and everything in between. Demographics has nothing to do with it.

No one can spoil your pleasure in wearing feminine clothes unless you allow it. A securely feminine woman wouldn't be bothered by seeing another woman express her womanhood in a different way. She'd just shrug and say, "Eh, that's not for me." Greer and others were part of an older generation of feminists that felt they had to imitate male dress and mannerisms to receive equal consideration with men. But that doesn't mean that all feminists express themselves in this way. You can be a feminist and like to wear pink high heels, but think about why you behave as you do. Do you wear the high heels to please yourself, or to receive attention from men?
