  • Last spring when the snow was melting it was running over my well and some of the water came from a fild that a neighbor had animals in. My son started to get sick he was running a fever and saying that his stomach hurt all the time. I kept taking him to the docort and they kept running all sorts of test and nothing bad was showing up on these test after about 3 weeks the doctor made the comment that he could have e-coli or other stomach bacteria. SO i had my water tested. We had fecole-coli in our water. When i washed the dishes i had to use bleach. I had to buy clorox 2 for my colors because they told me the only thing that would kill it was bleach. My son was 11 so we had to give him most anitbiotics and he had to drink alot of gataraid and other fluids to flush the bacteria out of his system if he had of been younger or we wouldn't have caught it sooner he would of been hospitalized. I had to buy water to cook with and drink of about another month and half after the melt was done we had some ppl come in and the cleaned and flushed our water built up our well so it did not happen again but i test my water every 3 monthe just to be safe.
