Depending on whom you take your dog to they will trim toenails, trim the hair in between the toes and some even exfoliate their little Feet. Miss Piggy are little Staffordshire terrier, get her little footies done once a month. We trim her toenails, as need which in not often, as she is notorious for pulling you down the street, and only heals when she needs too. I groom my shih-tzu at home. I use an Oster clipper with #40 blade attachment to go over the pads of his feet, removing the hair. Lightly go in between the pads just to make sure there are no stones or trash in between his or her pads. Good luck
