Pretty much every day..well thats not exactly true, most of the time my hair is pulled into a ponytail :)

Never. The pic my avatar is based on was taken about 8 years ago. My roommate took the picture of me without my knowledge during a figure-drawing class. I hadn't eaten, slept, or shaved in about 3 days due to finals and final portfolio prep.
