because too many women think they need to be thinner than normal because they think thin is beautiful.. therefore when the fashion industry begins to make things for "beautiful" people, normal women are becoming "plus size".

Plus size in the real world is size 14 or over. In the fashion world, it's size 8. Sometimes size 6! Last time I heard, size 6 was ideal. I could always make a joke and point out that gay men don't like womens' figures. Maybe they're trying to make them look more like skinny men!

Meory- I thought you'd get a kick out of this picture.

i dont think thats true .. straight guys tend to have an aversion to gay guys just because being too close is kinda scary to them but i have a couple of gay friends and they wouldnt do that . it depends on the person . you shouldnt make sweeping judgements like that

Well, it doesn't work that way for me! Over the past few years I have noticed that clothing has been made larger and larger. Now, instead of being able to buy "small" I have to shop in childrens dept's to find anything that fits me. Also, I am a "normal" woman...I just happen to be petite. "normal" women come in ALL shapes and sizes.

omg you people... it not just the gay men its the industry itself they have always wanted the size 0s because the fact is... on the runway / camera the girls and boys look fatter then normal. and its all about selling the clothes so that is why they are such stick thin because that what models have been used for centuries to sell the clothes! . like you wouldn't use a cow to promote elegant clothing would you now? it just doest appeal to the market.. and modeling is a career people choose to do no matter what the risk just like stunt car drivers.. they know what they are in for and they work their hardest to get far in what they want to archive.

depends on the gay. and we didn't do that all by ourselves may I remind you. the smaller the size the better it shows the design. bigger clothes you get lost in fabric. no offense.
