You don't automatically get fat when you quit smoking. It's usually because people replace a cigarette with candy or something. Try excercise if you're worried ;)

Nicotine gums and skin strips are at your service in quitting it without any complication!

Drink ALOT of water. This is something that helped me quit, and I still drink tons of it everyday. It helps curve cravings, and expand the food in your stomach to help you feel full, not only that,it give you something to do with your hands besides tapping on keys to AB!(You can get a mug that uses insulation to keep things hot or cold, and sipp throughout the day!) Good luck with it!*+++++*

something for your mouth, something for your hands. chew gum (sugarfree, ideally, like someone said it's not that your metabolism slows but that people eat more to occupy their mouths) and drink water for your mouth... maybe knitting or drawing or something for your hands.

Bee4, eat foods that have empty calories like, fruits and vegetables when you feel the urge to eat. But, first, drink a glass of water, then, wait about 10 minutes. If you still feel hungry, then you should eat. Sometimes your body is dehydrated and you think you're hungry and you're not. Also, bananas will help restore your body after quitting. And, always eat fruit on an empty stomach so your body will absorb all the nutrients. More benefits to eating bananas http://christianhine.com/this-will-make-you-go-bananas%E2%80%8F/

would you rather look 30 years older then you really are and die from cancer or stroke when you should be living for many years longer and smell terrible all the time and waste all your money on something that is killing you and have yellow & brown teeth and constantly be coughing and have brittle bones and have bad sense of taste and smell your whole life? or be fat, which you can burn off, but the effects of cigarettes on your appearance will never go away...read this. I think one of the main reasons it’s so hard to quit smoking is because all the benefits of quitting and all the dangers of continuing seem very far away. Well, here’s a little timeline about some of the more immediate effects of quitting smoking and how that will affect your body RIGHT NOW. â– In 20 minutes your blood pressure will drop back down to normal. â– In 8 hours the carbon monoxide (a toxic gas) levels in your blood stream will drop by half, and oxygen levels will return to normal. â– In 48 hours your chance of having a heart attack will have decreased. All nicotine will have left your body. Your sense of taste and smell will return to a normal level. â– In 72 hours your bronchial tubes will relax, and your energy levels will increase. â– In 2 weeks your circulation will increase, and it will continue to improve for the next 10 weeks. â– In three to nine months coughs, wheezing and breathing problems will dissipate as your lung capacity improves by 10%. â– In 1 year your risk of having a heart attack will have dropped by half. â– In 5 years your risk of having a stroke returns to that of a non-smoker. â– In 10 years your risk of lung cancer will have returned to that of a non-smoker. â– In 15 years your risk of heart attack will have returned to that of a non-smoker. hope this helped, and hope you soon quit smoking :)

Jogging is a better habit then smoking. A good jog will burn about 500 calories. Many people gain weight after they stop smoking because they turn to junk food for stimulation. I could not quit tobacco, so I use a vaporizer now. A vaporizer greatly reduces the toxins from tobacco use.
