The the Flash you had before updating it. Sometimes updates don't work right.

Are you getting a lot of pop up ads too? It could be a spyware/adware program. Try doing a restore using the system tools. If that doesn't use control panel and uninstall both java and flash. Then reinstall. Good Luck.

same thing happened to me. I tried updating like 20 times. Finally worked after rebooting a few times and redownloading the file. On my other PC, I can play all flash and everything else when using IE, but as soon as I try to use Firefox, I get the same stupid install messages. Pain in the ass.

I had that problem a few months back, but it turned out to be a problem with youtube themselves. I'd like to think that my computer is up-to-date and have been able to watch whatever, whenever. Recently though, I have had problem loading videos from the NFL network. I’m not so convinced that it is a problem with their website because when trying on another computer - it works fine. HELP!!!!!!!!

Javascript Test: http://liblearn.osu.edu/tutor/jscript.html Flash Test: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/ For the Flash test, right click on the flash object below the text "Adobe Flash Player". The version should be 9 or above. If the above tests work, the problem is the websites you were visiting. If the above tests fail, the problem is your computer.

Did you upgrade anything? Did your firewall update? First, try uninstalling flash using the directions here: http://tinyurl.com/qaf8f Then reinstall the new version. If that does not work, check to see if somehow your settings have changed on your computer, having .swf files open in a program other than macromedia flash. To do this, go to my computer, right click and explore. Go to tools, folder options, file types. Find .swf files and make sure they are a 'shockwave flash object'. If they are not, then that is the problem.

This may help: Go to your Start Menu and then click Control Panel. Click Network and Internet Connections. Then click on Internet Options. Go to the tab that is labeled Advanced. Scroll down and be sure the Display Active Content box is checked off. If this doesn't work try the Help menu or Troubleshooting menu. Good luck.
