It depends on the individual. You can go to the temple or shrine and pray whenever you want. Like in many Catholic churches, there can be many religious services every day at a Hindu temple: http://www.religioustolerance.org/hinduism.htm

Sometimes they pray twice a day (in my some families)day and night.They do some religious praying at home and invited friends and familys occasionally,like if someone isn't feeling well or stressed out they do a prayer to help the sick get better.
