In could be anything regarding his well-being: stress from work; high blood pressure; depression; money problems; circulation problems; and / or heart ailments. Only a doctor can find out for sure what's going on by giving him a physical exam. Maybe it's time he got a full check-up.

It could just be he's tired of the same thing, in the same place, in the same place, with the same person all the time. Don't take it personally, that is, unless he's cheating! Then that's a whole other story! But maybe you've fallen into a habit that's so boring, he loses interest mid-way.

If he has the problem when you give him oral sex, then you know it's probably a medical issue. Cause there aren't many men who don't like getting a blowjob - even a bad one is better than none! So now you've got to find a way to get him to the doctor without hurting his ego, embarassing him, or pushing him. Try not to make a big deal about it. Be firm about your concern, make the appointment for him if you much, and go with him because you're concerned about his health and you don't want his denial going with him to the doctor.

If he doesn't have the problem when you give him oral sex, it's a sure sign some excitement is needed to make him happy again. So get busy stepping up the sex play and start doing things out of the ordinary. Get in the shower with him and soap him up all over. Play silly in the kitchen, wear just an apron to cook dinner, then do it on the table for dessert! Try doing it up against the washer during the spin cycle! How about trying it some place you haven't had need to do it in since you live together - the car? Just be careful, it would be real embarassing to be caught in the back seat making out . . . Oh, but then again, it would be naughty fun. As long as your local newspaper doesn't publish a police report!

Take care, and have fun doing it! Hope it all works out well for both of you!

Medical, you arrived early and your done for now. Wait 15 minutes, get a beer and try again.

Mental, you don't find what you are doing particularly exciting and you wish you were either someplace else, or with someone else.

    PSYCHOLOGICAL CAUSES

These account for about 10% of erection problems, and result from nervousness or tension during lovemaking. Lack of confidence or the fear of failure causes a surge of adrenaline resulting in a reduction of the high blood flow needed to achieve or maintain an erection. After several episodes of repeated failure, the body becomes accustomed to releasing adrenaline at the very thought of a sexual relation. This can become a very difficult cycle to break out of without help.

Other common causes include stress, low sexual drive, guilt, anxiety, or depression. The characteristics of psychological erectile dysfunction include: being able to achieve or maintain an erection with one partner but not with another or, having strong and lasting erections in the mornings and during masturbation but not during lovemaking. At the Boston Medical Group, we usually treat psychological ED with a medication that makes sure you have a full and lasting erection every time you make love. Once your confidence is restored and you overcome the anxiety that you have associated with love making, you are able to make love without the help of this medication.

    PHYSICAL CAUSES

The remaining 90% of the causes of erectile dysfunction are physical in nature, and usually attributable to vascular disease. The penis requires a very healthy flow of blood to become completely erect. Even a marginal reduction in blood flow can cause problems.

This is referred to as "vascular insufficiency" and can be related to diabetes, hypertension, high blood cholesterol, smoking, excessive alcohol intake, arteriosclerosis (the hardening and thickening of the blood vessels), prostate problems, the results of previous surgery and certain types of medication. Often the cause cannot be found. Indeed, it is not uncommon for erectile dysfunction to present in an otherwise healthy person.

Lack of exercise can also be a cause for ED. Mostly it is not mental and it can start as early as your 30's.

Cocaine or Crack Cocaine addiction.......drugs like this don't seem to affect females but does affect males. Males cannot perform very well when smoking this drug even though they would like to. They cannot maintain an erection for very long it seems. Masterbation or oral sex seems to be the only way they can have sex when they are high. But they are very horney.
My boyfriend wishes he could please me sexually when he is high. But it is only a pipedream these days. I'm disgusted by his self-obsessed desires. I feel like he only needs me sexually when he needs to ejaculate. I get nothing out of this. We've only made love once in the 6 months we've been dating. The rest of the time it's just me pleasing him because of his addiction. Sometimes he compares me to his ex-wife.......boring...even though he doesn't have the ability to maintain an erection for very long. He saz he does that on purpose to maintain an erection but he always needs my help to do that. :o) I'm tired of his inability to please me. He thinks that I should get off by pleasing him. What's up here??
