My experience has showed me that the truth doesnt hurt near as bad as finding out you have been living in lies.

Sometimes the truth doesn't hurt at all.."I love you"! That's a truth that doesn't hurt..."You look terrific!" "Congratulations..you deserved that promotion". Honesty is always the best policy, except if in so doing you will unnecessarily hurt someone..your friend is dying and looks like he** and you say to him "sorry you're dying..by the way, you look like he** ". :(
