I did this in the 80's but I've never topped it! A guy that I worked with was always bragging on Monday morning about his wild weekend and all the girls he met or picked up, etc. On April 1st I had a friend of mine call him at work. She pretended to work at the County Health Dept., Communicable Disease Dept. She told him that his name had been given by someone else who had tested positive for some STD and that he needed to come in that day by 4:00 for a confidential blood test. He asked her who gave his name but she couldn't give out that kind of info. I just happened to be sitting in his office when he got the call. He hung up, looking ill and said that he would be back in a minute. He left to go ask the boss (my father) if he could leave early for some lame excuse he gave. He returned to his office and I asked him what was wrong but he tried to act like it was nothing. This was about 10:00am. So around 3:00 I came back in his office to go over some things and visit. He kept checking his watch and looking ill. I waited until he got up and said he had to go to the dentist before I let him know that it was APRIL FOOLS and YES it was ME and YES I was sick of hearing about all his little conquests on Monday and YES he has never forgotten it. People still talk about it on April 1st every year. I''ve never been able to pull off another one this believable.
