Yes, yes and i did it because they teacher was bitching and when i woke up she bitched at me and i was in a grumpy mood so i bitched back lol. true story the class just laughed and cheered

Oh yes. Only caught once (that I remember). I was asleep and everyone knew (darkened room for slides) and the teacher asked a question. I had awakened just before the question, but hadn't opened my eyes yet. Everyone was amazed I heard the question and got it right.

I used to fall asleep in 1st year Latin tutorials. They were so boring! Other students had to poke me in the ribs!

I went to Catholic school and in all those years I never saw or heard of anyone doing that...we were very scared of the nuns and what would happen when we got home.

Yes. When I was tutoring. The child's father chose that day to stop by. I'd been there 6 months and had barely sighted him til then.

Only nodded off now and then while going to nursing school full time and working full time, it was a few years of continual sleep depravation. I don't think anyone noticed, or cared, we were all exhausted.

When I went to Catholic school, I would often fall asleep in Science class and in Religion class....they were just boring I guess. In high school, any class after third period is one that I will probably sleep through.

Yes, I have. But I don't recall if I was caught or not. I was asleep (Har-D-har-har). Okay, now for my real answer. I'd never fallen asleep in class, but one thing I did constantly (and that which my teachers liked to inform my parents of on my report cards) was daydream. I got good marks and was well-liked but on the whole I hated school. The purely-academic crap bored me to tears. I got sick of my teachers always saying that I was capable of straight-A work but that my "carelessness" and "silly mistakes" on tests was a hindrance in achieving that. My favourite subjects were always art and gym. I would've sooner mashed my face into a pile of burning coal than do math and science.

the better question would be: "When do you not ever fall asleep in class? How many times are you not caught." they would be much lower numbers!

Yes and yes. And I couldn't care less. If they taught anything worth learning, we may have paid more attention and been kept awake.

I had an Algebra final in college and stayed up all night cramming...I'm good at procrastinating. I was afraid to go to sleep b/c I didn't know if I'd hear my alarm. I get to class, start taking the final and somehow fell asleep. No one woke me up! I finally awoke as people were turning in their tests.

Falling asleep in class was just the beginning. I've fallen asleep in meetings with the company President. Once I went to a lunchtime Bible study with my co-worker. Every one at the Bible study was black except me and it was led by the pastor. Not only was I the only white person, I was also hugely pregnant so I sort of stuck out like a sore thumb. So of course I fell asleep. My friend threatened to never take me anywhere with her again. LOL!

Yeah, I fell asleep in my English class my freshman year of high school... must be why I failed freshman english twice and sophomore english... oh well, I've graduated anyways.

Yes and yes. I had an early college class that I just couldn't keep awake in. The prof. cared at first, but after getting an A on our first test, he didn't mind as much.

As a teacher, I was on some medication one time. My students were working on some written something...I was sitting at my desk. I have no idea how long I was asleep but the bell woke me up...all my students just laughed at me! I never took that medication again! I had good students...they just carried on like I was awake.

I've taken naps in tutorial...but I don't sleep in class it's too noisy.
