Only when cheaper in large quanities. Like at Sam's Club where you buy larger quanities at a cheaper price. Or, if things are on sale for a good price. I.e. toilet paper, paper towels, kleenex, etc.

I literally hate to shop so yes I do, when I find something on sale that will last I buy a lot of it. That way I only have to buy fresh fruit/veggies and dairy when I go to the store.

If it's fro religious purposes like preparing for armagheddon, consider this: When the war of all wars comes, you'll be dead. Your wheat and powdewred milk won't help you. Don't get connned by Utah businesses who prey on the fears of LDS families. It is good however to learn to dry and can food when there are bumper crops and how to hunt. During slow economic times, it's a valuable thing to have.
