  • Fifteen minutes.
  • It depends how far and how long it would take me to walk. I would normally say if it takes me longer to wait than to walk myself, I should walk.
  • In LA... during the reign of RTD, I used to wait according to distance I had to travel. I knew the bus lines well and there were some cases were it was just better to start walking.
  • it depends on how far i'm supposed to go but generally 15 minutes, the buses here never take longer for some reason so thats a good thing i guess.
  • I'd wait maybe an hour.
  • I look at the schedule, and if I'd get to where I'm going faster by walking than taking the bus, I just walk. If it's a nice day, I might just walk. If I don't feel like waiting, I might follow the bus route until a bus actually does come. There are ways around waiting for the bus. Just be creative. If you keep walking along the bus route, you get more exercise anyway. On the way home today, I missed my bus because I had to cross a big road to get to it. If I'd waited for the next one, I'd have to wait around half an hour. I just walked down the street and turned on another one to a bus stop where I could catch another bus I was curious about taking anyway. It doesn't bother me because 1) that bus drops me off closer to my house, 2) I like changes in scenery, 3) I got to walk. It's good exercise. My final answer? Don't complain. Be creative. Appreciate the fact that your city actually does have public transportation.
  • More or less, depending on the weather and my urgency i would say, aproximately, mmmmm, let me think....i would say...0 seconds!
  • 25 minutes. I'll walk to the next stop!
  • Well, usually where I am going, is several miles away. So that leaves me stuck...
