Definately not! four days is great. Congradulations! Maybe they're trying to psyche you out by saying it isnt that great when really theyre trying to make sure you keep trying your hardest and dont slack off.

You should be extremely proud of yourself, and congratulations on making it this far. Quitting smoking is incredibly difficult and is something that requires a lot of will power, determination and support from friends and family. 4 days to someone who is quitting smoking can literally feel like 4 months. I think it is very unfair and unkind of your friends to have such a negative and defeatists attitude towards your progress. Surely they are more concerned about your longterm health and happiness than how long it might take you to give up smoking for good? Lifestyle changes aren't a race, anyway, or a contest to see who did it the fastest or the "best". Personally, I think you're doing a wonderful job and I hope you overcome your friends negativity and stay strong!

No! Not at all :) I'd be bragging, back slapping and high fiving myself if I'd went four waking hours without a ciggie.... All the best!

You should be very pround of yourself. The physical addication to niccotine only lasts three days, so at this point you are only fighting the mental cravings, your body no longer needs the drung. Keep up the great work!!

Considering they both smoke, the problem is jealousy. Unfortunately misery loves company. People who feel powerless over their addiction are less likely to be supportive of someone who is beating their addiction. Here are a couple of websites that might help: www.quitnet.com whyquit.net True friends would apologize and be supportive. Something to think about. Good luck to you!

Congratulations! You should defiantly be proud of yourself! Maybe your friends are smokers too and they are jealous that you had enough will power to decide you weren't going to continue to smoke. Either way I think it's great. I just quit too! 7 days no nicotine...I'm about to snap but I already feel better no joke. So keep it up because you can totally do this.

You should be very proud of yourself! I am very proud of you. Nicotine is the most addictive substance on the planet and you are taking it one step at a time. You are dealing with the oral fixation, next step is dealing with the physical addiction. I don't know what the problem with people is. Maybe they are jealous that they don't have the will power to do such a thing. But I have more faith in YOU then I do in addiction!! Keep up the good work!

Congrats, you deserve a high 5 for quiting. Be strong

It's alright to be proud. But you need to remember that your craving for smoking is still around and you need to do whatever you can to fight that craving and never touch or look at cigarettes again. http://settingcaptivesfree.com/breath_life/
