Clouds have various colors based on their shape and water content. They also have reflected color. All clouds are white. When a cloud get thick, the portion of cloud above the base will sometimes cast a shadow on the base letting it look gray. Water is colorless too, but when water vapour is concentrated in smal particles or droplets, the water vapour looks more like a particle than a drop of water. that also helps a cloud look gray. Lastly, when a cloud is close to the horizon, the sunset ort sunrise can impart colour as the light is reflected or refracted through it.
