  • You'll need to file a claim with either your or the driver's insurance company in order for them to pay. Florida is a no fault state, so hopefully you have a police report to support your claim of not at fault. If not, it's your word against the other driver's. And even if there's no police report, the insurance company can and probably will find out your license is suspended and will report that to the authorities. Your best bet is to call your insurance company and take care of any license issue you have. Good luck.
