An electronic memory circuit? "Mentored by Professor James R. Heath, my research has focused on the realization of large-scale, ultra-dense nanowire-based circuits. Recent work includes the integration of nanowire arrays and bistable molecular materials to construct a functional molecular electronic memory circuit containing 100-billion devices per square centimeter (the densest man-made object to date)." http://www.linkedin.com/in/nanotechie Personally, I think the answer is George W. Bush.

Osmium 22.48 g/cm3 (Metallic Element) densest Substance. (Naturally occurs as Alloy of Platinum, pure Osmium must be extracted, or "Man Made") http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osmium http://www2b.abc.net.au/science/k2/stn/archives/archive1/newposts/11/topic11207.shtm For more info. Solid Hydrogen is less dense than a marshmellow, 70.6gms/cm3 is Completely incorrect. Also, Scientists have created Black holes that pop into, and then out of existance in fractions of a millisecond, I guess they must be the densest in order to trap light and bend spacetime into an infinitesimally small point. They hardly Last long enough to count though.
