I am 72 so the idea od a real woman has changed for me over the years. My mom was what I compared women to. It has changed as the roll of the woman has changed. i cannot give you a definition of a real woman at this time. There are a lot of different ways to measure a womans role today . Sorry

A really thoughtful question! I don't think women are as hard pressed to prove their being a woman as men are to prove they're a man .. at least in our society. I'm sure this will irk someone, but I think nurturing is definitely a sign of a real woman.

Excellent question. Very difficult to answer. Some men would rather have a root canal than attempt to answer this question. I'm probably going to step on some toes as I "boldly go where no man has gone before". A real woman is: Assertive, professional, intelligent, independent, tolerant and understanding, she is whole and complete whether single, married, divorced, lesbian, childless or widowed. She stands her ground and can show more resilience and courage than any warrior. She is loving, loyal, caring and compassionate with the fury of a fiery tempest. She is not a slave or an accessory. She is friend and mentor, companion and adviser. She is all that and more

i think a real woman keeps her legs together until she is married to a man.

A woman who doesn't air her dirty laundry all over the Internet.
-
One who acts like a woman and is not afraid to depend on a man to do the physically tougher tasks. Also, a real woman looks like a woman, meaning wearing dresses or skirts.

A 'real' woman is the same as a 'true' woman if you ask me. An I think that means a woman who is faithful and devoted. These two things are very important to a man (although we'd never admit it!)

Both the Real Man and the Real Woman are complete cliches., so this is somewhat tongue in cheek. The Real Man goes out and bashes the enemy wherever they may be in defence of his home and children. The Real Woman makes sure that home and children are still there when he gets back. Yes, this includes all the domestic stuff: she is a great cook, just as the Real Man can strip and clean his machine gun. just as the real man is a crack shot. But it includes more than that: if the enemy besieges the castle while the real man is away fighting, she runs the defence.Of course, both of them are gorgeous in a very heterosexual way, and great in bed (this is a cliche, remember). The is also the maker of the community: the RM may lead the warrior band, but the RW leads the community, and when not on the warpath, the RM concedes to her on "local matters" - which most of what makes life worth living. In both cases, the characteristic is capability, written large. The Real Man is good at the stereotypically male things: fighting the enemy, hunting for food. He is overstated - he can fly a plane, fight any nija, discuss literature and have immaculate hair on a battlefield. The Real Woman is good at the stereotypically female things, and is equally overstated. She can cook like a goddess, knock out intruders, discuss philosophy, and have perfect makeup on a battlefield.

IMO, a real woman not only has a sexy body, but also has a sexy mind :-)

Let Trisha Yearwood tell you. Gotta love any excuse to use video answers. ;-)

The attributes of a 'real woman' are the same as those of a 'real man' except for the body shape.

when men develope an image of a real woman, i dont think it entails anything excpet physical features

A real woman wouldn't put up with this nonsense of wrapping her gender-identity & sexuality within such a tightly constrained box. And for that matter, neither would a real man.

A "Real Woman" is someone who can control her emotions and handle situations diplomatically. A woman who respects herself and is confident. I am a "REAL WOMAN"
