YES, they shouldn't not let you buy condoms, because or else it's like saying: "Ok, ur gonna have sex anyway, so when you get AIDS sew us because we refused to sell you a product with no age limits that helps reduce the transmission of STD's " They should let you but them, yes, you can walk in and buy them.
-
I don't know if you live in America or over here in Great Britain, but here we can get them FREE BEFORE WE ARE 16 (and free after too). You only have to go to a health clinic, they're dishing them out. Britain is very desperate not to have underage mums, and this seems to be all that works. So, seeing as you're 17 and are legally allowed to have sex, if they didn't give them to you, but practically shoved them down my throat (I'm 15 and these people even give them out at school) then there is seriously something wrong with the world.
-
I know of no law that forbids this. i guess the theory is.....if you are going to have sex, better to allow the sale of condoms, than the spread of disease or an unwanted child.
-
Absolutely. --- You can buy condoms at any age, I make sport of it, when I buy condoms I find the most attractive checkout lady and toss'em up on the counter and just smile and wink at her. You can do the same with a guy clerk to, it for some reason intimidates the hell out of them.... there are a lot of people out there with dirty and cluess minds.
-
you can be 12 and buy condoms..but if you were smart, you'd go to a clinic and get them for FREE
-
I do not believe there is any law forbidding the sale of condoms to those who are your age. Even though I am twenty-two, I sometimes say its for science experiments involving electricity if they ask.
-
Yes you can and should! You do not want to get sexually transmited diseases and get pregnant!
-
You sure can buy condoms at 17. When I was 17, I bought them also. Then again, I don't think I actually paid for them; was too nervous to actually bring it to the girl at the local store counter. Not that I'm suggesting you should do that but I wasn't the first or the last guy not to pay for one of their first pack of condoms. Good that I didn't though, that girl behind the local store counter, many years later, became my wife. Funny how that works.
-
i did when i was 14. no biggie. well, it was when it happened .. all the cashiers were men. and i definitley looked as young as i was.
-
Yes you can. That would be very smart of you. Also, if you don't want to pay, you might be able to get them from a local clinic for free. Condoms are very helpful in preventing STD's and pregnancy.
-
of course
-
Yes, or a grocery store, or from machines. If you cannot afford them, many health clinics, Planned Parenthood etc in the US will give them to you for free. Make sure you know how to put them on correctly. If you do not, Google it, and there are sites that will tell you how to help avoid them from coming off or breaking. I am sorry..don't know if you are male or female, so if female, ignore the last comment if it is not of interest to you. And thank you for being a responsible young man and practicing safe sex! Too bad there are not ALOT more like you who care and who are willing to be careful when it comes to both pregnancy as well as sexually transmitted diseases. Don't feel at all embarrassed! Feel good you are doing the mature and responsible thing.
-
Yep...you can run if you like.
-
im most countries theres no law against it unless youre under the minimum age which you would be over.. anyway.. would you really expect the guy behind the counter to ask for id when buying condoms?? im in australia and its legal because the government doesnt want all these kids having babies.. even though in a lot of cases its illegal for sex, theyre just being safe
-
hey you can go in any store and buy them its ok you dont have to be a sertian age to buy them i just dont know what they would say to a 9 year old going to buy them but i know nothing to a 17 year old and as for the HC yea sure you get them free butt i idvise you to just buy your own by test they give you some for protection to teach you about protection but not the best to use
-
You sure can. And don't be ashamed or feel odd doing it. You are being a mature guy by wanting to use safe sex. Also, I wouldn't waste your money on the ones that say it will make women "go wild."
-
why, yes you can. just, don't let ma and pa find them. but at least if they do they'll know you're having protected sex.
-
I'm a cashier & i would sell them to anyone at any age the reason being i think its cheapier to pay 2 let the kids pay 2 or 3 dollars for a condom then it is for our tax money to go on more unwed mothers & help buy vd meds for teenagers who can't afford the costs. Its so sad seeing young kids pregant or die so young because of a irresponsible mistake. I'm glad to see teenagers preventing this, but it is cheapier to go to a clinic.
-
my brother does it i think he gets them from drug stores but im not sure
-
yes, you can its your like your protection, do what you gotta do
-
Its no problem, dont be embarrassed that you're going to be the one not getting VD.
-
i would hope so, that saved me when i was around that age. be brave and ask an adult, they will understand.:)
-
yeah
-
Yes as a matter of fact some high schools have them in the lunch rooms for anyone to take.
-
Haha'... Yes, yes you can. May be a little embarassing. But, hey atleast your protected, right?
-
Yes. You can also get them free at a family planning clinic.
-
You can get the best deals online though. ;)
-
It depends on what state you live in. Most health departments will give them to you for free. You might want to ask your school counselor they usually give themout too. Talk to your parents I get them for my 15 year old. I would rather give them to him than have him catch an STD or make me a grandmother early.
-
yes you can, and good for you for using your heads
-
In Britain or America?
-
yes you can
-
My mate last year picked up two packs of condoms at Asda (WalMart) and bought them without any trouble. He was 13 at the time, and he bought them for a laugh. So in short, yes you can
-
im 13 and i have done it so yes you can
-
Theres no age limit on buying condoms because they want everyone to be protected. So they wont stop you!
-
They can't put an age limit on safe sex. But some stores are weird about selling condoms to underage so they might have a age limit of 16, so you should be fine.
-
yes. because your over 16 and if you to be 16 by law to have sex. even though a lot of people do before then. i have never bought them because i'd be to embarassed.
-
Any aged person can purchase condoms.
-
It isn't a age limit on purchasing condoms,if your scared have a friend by them,or get them from the clinic.
-
Why not?Condoms protects you against to the diseases.Remember "You don't jump without a parashute"
-
yes
-
remember to "rap it before you tap it!"
-
I think there are vending machines in mens restrooms that sell condoms. All us women get is a Tampax for a quarter.
-
I don't even think that you'd be asked for age. My friends, some are year younger, went and bought em, and no problem. So my answer, Yes, there is nothing wrong with it.
-
Yes - it isn't a problem. If anyone bugs you - say you needed them for a practicle joke. Like putting on your teachers door knob
-
yes just do it!
-
Yes, and good idea.
-
sure just dont let your parents catch you
-
I should hope so ...
-
sure can! And bravo for you choosing "safe sex"..have fun!
-
If you have legs and money, yes!
-
As far as I know you can. I remember buying condoms for the first time at 15. I was blushing under the glare and pursed lips of the little old lady behind the counter at the drugstore. I couldn't just buy the condoms I had to pile them under an assortment of other things. If I recall correctly a toothbrush, a chocolate bar, and Trojans.
-
Of course, have never heard af anyone being refused condoms. Is this a joke, buy them by the dozen at any age! Have fun!
-
Certainly in the UK, and I cannot imagine that any place in the US would refuse to serve a teenager that is wise enough to take precautions against pregnancy and sexually transmitted deseases
-
I hope there is no such law.
-
wait a year, the best advice i can give..
-
YOu can also bu them at corner stores and grocery stores.
-
yepp. you can buy condomns anywhere. and if i store didnt sell them to you and you got pregnant you could probably sue. hah=)
-
actually i'm pretty positive you can buy them at any age, i guess just because you're not old enough to legally do the act its self, you're not too young to spread stds and have kids,so they want to be safe rather than sorry
-
Why would you need them?
-
they have 2 sell you them at any age its a law!!
-
Very reponsable of you.
-
Well yeah.
-
no. you need to be 21.
-
Of course you can. Silly question, to be honest. I mean, what should hold you back? Other than your own embarrassment, of course, which was a problem for me
-
YES; you can walk in and purchase condoms .... even at 13 , if you have the $$$ .
