What is the best Macintosh system(money not an issue(it is but just for the sake of the question)) for video editing and running multiple progams(like 4-6 or more)?

If price is no object, then by far the best Mac for what you want to do is the Mac Pro with two 3.0 GHz duo core Opteron processors (http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/6014001/wo/s13kD7cnGPr5260LipA2OHtGC5H/2.?p=0). If you want a portable, then the best would probably be one of the two higher end MacBook Pros depending on how big of a screen you want.
