Not a cure, no. New drugs which suppress the symptoms of AIDS and can increase life expectancy have been developed. None of these actually cure the disease though.
-
Male circumcision cuts infectivity by about a third. There is no longer any reason for any man not to be circumcised, unless he's sure he'll never "do it" again as long as he lives.

People infected with HIV today are kept from falling victim to AIDS by taking multiple drugs or medicine cocktails. That is, if they have the money or the assistance to keep them in the drugs. This is by no means a cure though, just a way of prolonging life with some dignity. The rest is up to the person who must live a healthy life, including diet and lifestyle, in order to maintain what the drugs will help provide.

There is natural cures for AIDS but these are not profitable to big drug companies and therefore hidden from the public.
-
Why would the drug companies work to find a cure? Its a lot more profitable to create drugs to treat the disease than cure it. And no, there is no cure yet.
-
No, there is currently no cure. I honestly cannot see a cure actually being developed with a good success rate, because the virus mutates at such a fast rate that every day, thousands of genetically brand new variations are created. This is because the virus has a very error prone replication process and no error checking facility as humans have, so each new virus receives about 4/5 mutations. There are small populations, such as in Africa, wh have been shown to be naturally resistant to the vrius, probably bypreveting the virus from actually penetrating the host T cells in the first place. This can certainly be exploited for future treatments, and is currently being studied by many research groups. However, there is no actual cure, current treatment involves nucleoside and non0nucleoside replication inhibitors, to reduce viral replication, and prtease inhibitors. These all work together to reduce the chances of a resistant virus emerging in an individual, however as resistant strains emerge, these are more likely to be passed on to others than non-resistant ones, due to higher numbers.

NO. the AIDS virus mutates at a very fast rate of time, by the time you even find a cure the virus has mutated already.
-
They havn't found a "cure". But they have found something to give to people that will help their immune system to keep them alive longer.

Not a full blown cure, no, but, medical science is making progress. Africa is one the most AIDS infected country in the world, approximately over 90% of the population of that continent is supposedly infected or under the risk of being infected. Scientists and medical experts have recently discovered a group of prostitutes who are infected with HIV, but, it is apparent that their bodies have created a natural tolerance to the disease, scientists are monitoring and studying them closely because this small group of prostitutes may hold the key, and ultimately the cure, to the AIDS epidemic.
