What do you do when you discover there's a fly or mosquito inside your house? Do you leave it alone or try hard to kill it? If you try to kill it, what do you use?

Kill it by amy means necessary. Hairspray, lysol, fly swatter..whatever is handy.

I usually send hubby or the dogs after it. Hubby is proud of the fact that he can kill a fly in mid air with one swat...of whatever he has handy! haha

409.... it kills most things, and is less toxic than bug sprays which leave a oily residue behind. You use it to clean, and why not clean up a dead bug with it. 409 has some amonia in it I believe. It's great for ants right on the spot.

If one of the cats don't get it, I usually get it with a swat of a magazine or rolled up newspaper.

I kill it. If it is a mosquito I use my hand, if it is a fly I use Foaming Bubbles bathroom cleaner (it is great because it traps them when it expands, and all you have to do is hit them with a little bit to take them down!)

i dont care about flies but if it's a mosquito I try to kill it with a shoe or paper towels.
