Buddhism does not bother with beliefs in general, certainly not with matters that are outside the scope of it's primary mission... to awaken to life as it really is. So there's no official Buddhist position about this. Buddhism also takes no position on who should have won the 1971 World Series. Irrelevant is irrelevant.
