What's the longest you've ever driven in your auto without rest, with just the normal gas/bathroom pit stops, I just drove 16 hours straight from Florida.....

From Texas to Colorado one year, I drove about 10 hours straight and FELL ASLEEP (dozed off, momentarily), on a straight stretch of road, and by some miracle, woke right back up! I had 5 others in the car with me, and I immediately pulled over, got out, and thanked God that I didn't kill someone! I have never pushed myself, since. I felt like a fool, because I knew I was too tired, but everyone else was asleep, and I didn't want to bother them. Never, NEVER, again!

Thirteen hours, without stopping. That was from West Virginia to Eastern Maryland...which would normally only take half that long, but traffic was bad....
