No. The closest I can honestly answer this is via onions.

I had to do that a few times in an acting class in college.

No need. If something is very sad or very happy, I cry:-)
-
why?
-
I have tried. I havent cried in a very very long time. Even when these huge tragedies happen I CANT cry and it hurts because I have no way to releve the pressure of all those emotions. Oh well. In time, I guess. ~+~

I've forced myself to feel. Its a start.
-
It's more like....well, usually I hide tears if I can. Sometimes though, I might purposefully choose not to hide them. That's not exactly forcing myself, but its close enough for me.
-
Yes as a child with the aim of getting my brother into trouble. My tears were normally preceded by the words, 'Mum, he hit me'.
-
Actually, I have. My grandfather died when I was 15. I loved him dearly, but I honestly was not sad, I just knew it was his time. I was the only one at the funeral that was not sad, so I made myself cry so the other mourners would not think me heartless. Is that weird?
-
is that being un-authentic?
-
no, I dont think I would know how to make that happen..........
-
Yeah, for acting's sake. If you have one specific thing or song or something that you sort of listen to or do when you're actual really upset, and then you do the same thing and tell yourself you're upset, then you can (or I can) cry over that.
-
No, and why would you?
