Why do people have the attitude like they can get angry at a family members actions or lifestyle but if someone outside the family does the same thing you feel uncomfortable?

    Because they are your family..you tell them your truth but you don't want any outsider hurting them in any way..that's what families are supposed to do, in my opinion..friends also! Protect one another!:)

    familiarity breeds comtempt. The better we know people, the more likely we are to find fault with them. something that you say which means if you know someone very well or experience something a lot, you stop respecting them. I believe Mark Twain said this.

    Because people get more upset about other people's actions when they care about them more. Family members have a greater impact on each other than random strangers.
