He's been running around like crazy the past few days since the weather warmed up but I attributed it to him picking up on my own mood. That and the fact he's figured out I take him for walks more and spend more time outside with him when the weather is nicer.

No, just the opposite. I have a Shih tzu, and he doesn't like hot weather. He usually finds a cool place to sleep.

Yes he does. He barks more too :)

No. She actually becomes lazy in the summer. She tends to sleep more.

I have 3 different breeds and they all tend to slow down in the summer especially the Malamute. He is a frisky critter in the winter.

My Akita is more hyper in the winter, because he's inside more and gets bored more easily. In the summer, when he does a lot of things outside, he's a much calmer dog when he gets back inside. :)

Just the opposite. Cold mornings and rain or snow excites my dogs as they are Newfoundlands. They are heavy coated hairy dogs who love to swim and get very hot in the summer, especially if it's humid. Here are my dogs summer time fun!

my dogs are more hyper in winter. my gsd boy nenz that recently died, would start going really slow, huffing and puffing once it got over 50 F. my gsd girl has slowed down some since it got warmer. our s. poodle seems indifferent.
