Why do most of the people I talk to everyday not know what an extension to a phone number is?

Maybe they've never worked in a corporate environment with more than say 20 people.

If they never had to have one, they may not know what one is. As hard as it is to believe, there are still quite a few low-tech people out there.

Because they are too used to everyone just having their own cell phone and not an extension. and some people are just dim. :) ~+~
