Felonies: The nature of the crime will have a huge impact on what kinds of jobs you can get into. Violent crimes will leave you with far less options - especially those in the service type industries. I don't care how well educated you become in any given field - your application will reflect that you have felonies. Oh they will not tell you that the reason why you were not hired was because of those - but it will be the reason why 9 out of ten potential employers will look you over. Tats: If ya look like a thug no one will hire ya. So it boils down to what kinds of tats you have. In the case of real estate - you have to present a facade that eases people's minds and leads them to trust you. If you have mean/wicked/prison type tats then yeah you can try to be a real estate agent - you might not sell many houses. Medical field (since you mentioned it in another post) kind of iffy. The patient comes first if they ain't comfortable around a thug... you get the idea.

It's not going to help to keep asking the same question over and over. You need to go to a sympathetic employment agency that specializes in ex-cons. There are skin specialists who can help you with cover make-up for your tats.
